How it works
1
Find on the map
Browse trainers by neighborhood and home court. Every profile shows the rate, availability, and reviews from completed sessions — nothing imported, nothing invented.
2
Book & pay securely
Pick a time and request it. Your card is authorized — not charged — until the trainer confirms. No cash, no apps, no screenshots.
3
Train
Meet at the court. The session lands on both calendars, the receipt lands in your inbox, and your review keeps the next parent honest.

Questions parents actually ask
When is my card actually charged?
Never at request. Your card is authorized when you book, and only charged when the trainer confirms the session. If they decline — or don't respond in time — the hold is released automatically and you pay nothing.
Can I book for my kid?
Yes — that's the model. You pick the time, you pay, and for minors the parent is always the account holder. You can even book your first session without creating an account.
What if the trainer declines or never confirms?
Declined requests release the hold on your card immediately. Requests the trainer doesn't confirm expire on their own within about seven days, and the hold is released then too — either way, no charge, and the time slot opens back up.
How are trainers vetted?
Three honest signals. First, every profile is reviewed and approved by Trainurz before it appears — nobody lists themselves unseen. Second, every bookable trainer has passed Stripe's identity verification to receive payouts — Stripe runs that check, and Trainurz never stores IDs. Third, every review comes from an athlete who booked, paid, and completed a session, so ratings can't be faked or bought. The separate Verified badge means we've additionally reviewed a trainer's uploaded credentials.
What does it cost?
The session rate you see on the trainer's profile — that's it. No membership, no booking fee on top. Most 1-on-1 rates in NYC run $85–$120 an hour.
Do I need an account?
Not to book — you can request and pay for a session as a guest with just your name and email. A free account keeps your bookings, receipts, and reviews in one place, and your guest sessions attach to it automatically.
