Trainurz LLC ("Trainurz," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy explains how Trainurz collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use trainurz.com and our related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.

Trainurz is an online marketplace that connects athletes and parents with independent basketball trainers.

Scope of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- visitors to our website;
- registered users;
- guest checkout users;
- parents or guardians booking sessions for minors;
- adult athletes;
- trainer applicants;
- approved trainers; and
- anyone who communicates with Trainurz.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Platform.
Those services operate under their own privacy policies.
Information We Collect
The information we collect depends upon how you use Trainurz.
A. Information You Provide
You may provide information including:
- name;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- billing information;
- booking information;
- trainer preferences;
- messages sent to Trainurz;
- customer support communications;
- reviews;
- profile information;
- trainer biographies;
- coaching experience;
- certifications;
- pricing information;
- service areas; and
- availability.
For trainer applicants, we may also collect documentation submitted during the onboarding process for review and approval.
B. Athlete Information
When booking a session, parents, guardians, or adult athletes may provide information regarding the athlete, including:
- age;
- basketball experience;
- skill level;
- training goals;
- injuries;
- physical limitations;
- allergies;
- accessibility accommodations; and
- other information reasonably necessary for training preparation.
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information, including complete medical records, insurance information, Social Security numbers, or government-issued identification documents.
C. Payment Information
Payments are securely processed by Stripe.
Trainurz does not receive or store complete payment card numbers.
Stripe may collect payment information necessary to process transactions in accordance with Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
D. Trainer Verification Information
Trainer applicants may submit documents supporting their application, including certifications and other credentials.
These documents are reviewed by Trainurz solely for application purposes.
Identity verification required for payouts is performed by Stripe Connect.
Trainurz does not collect or retain government-issued identification documents submitted through Stripe.
E. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect information including:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- operating system;
- device information;
- pages visited;
- referring website;
- date and time of access;
- session activity;
- cookies;
- browser user agent; and
- analytics information.
This information helps us improve the Platform, investigate fraud, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Information About Children
Trainurz is designed for adults.
Parents and legal guardians may provide information regarding their children for the purpose of booking basketball training sessions.
Children are not permitted to:
- create accounts;
- submit bookings;
- communicate independently through the Platform;
- provide personal information directly to Trainurz.
Trainurz does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
If we learn that information has been collected directly from a child contrary to this policy, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

- connect clients with trainers;

- review trainer applications;
- communicate regarding bookings;

- maintain Platform security;

- protect participants; and
- operate the Trainurz marketplace.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Share Information
Trainurz shares personal information only when reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, complete bookings, comply with legal obligations, or protect users.

A. Independent Trainers
When you submit a booking request, information necessary to complete the session may be shared with the trainer associated with that booking.
Depending on the booking, this information may include:
- your name;
- contact information;
- athlete information;
- training goals;
- session details;
- accommodations;
- injuries or physical limitations that you choose to disclose; and
- other information reasonably necessary for the trainer to prepare for the session.
Trainers may use this information only for purposes related to the requested training session.
B. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Information necessary to complete payment transactions may be shared with Stripe in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Trainurz does not store complete payment card information.
C. Service Providers
Trainurz works with trusted third-party providers that help us operate the Platform.
These providers may include:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Cloudflare (security and content delivery)
- Mapbox (mapping and geolocation)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
- analytics providers
- customer support providers
- infrastructure providers
These companies may receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform services on our behalf.
D. Legal Requirements
We may disclose personal information when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

Document versions are recorded by Trainurz's servers.
Trainurz does not rely upon client-submitted document versions for legal acceptance records.
These records may be retained after an account is closed where permitted or required by law.

Trainurz retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Depending upon the type of information, retention may include:
- booking history;
- payment records;

- trainer application records;

Do Not Track
Some web browsers offer "Do Not Track" settings.
Because there is no universally accepted standard governing Do Not Track signals, Trainurz does not currently respond differently based upon those browser settings.

The Trainurz Platform is intended primarily for users located within the United States.
If you access the Platform from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers where permitted by applicable law.
